Northern Credit Union is now offering Text Banking enrollment through our mobile app!

Text Banking is a quick, easy and safe way to check your account balances, recent transaction history and transfer funds within your account . With Text Banking you will also have the opportunity to enroll in Mobile Banking Text Alerts regarding your account activity and transaction history. Now, you will have the ability to track your account through messages sent to your mobile device without opening an app or logging into an account. With account updates as fast as your thumbs you can monitor your account in real time, worry free and when you enroll no personal information is exchanged, such as your personal ID, account number, or password. 

Follow these simple steps to enroll in Text Banking:

  1. Launch the Northern Credit Union Mobile Application and Sign In.
  2. From the Account screen, click on the side Menu in the top left hand corner to get to the Main Menu. 
  3. Click on the “Text Banking Enroll” button. 
  4. Click on the “Add a Mobile Number” button. 
  5. A Verification Code will be sent to that number by text. Once you receive the code, enter it into the Verification Code field in Mobile Banking and hit the “Continue” button.
  6. Enrollment is now complete!

Once you are enrolled in Text Banking, follow these simple steps to set up your first Text Alert:
  1. Launch the Northern Credit Union Mobile application, Sign In, and navigate to Text Alerts. 
  2. Click on the “New Alert” button. 
  3. Choose the alerts you would like to enroll in and the accounts you would like to monitor. Be sure to save your choices.
  4. Enrollment is now complete!
