LeRay and Carthage Lobbies Temporarily Closed

The LeRay and Carthage Relationship Center lobbies will temporarily close effective Tuesday, December 22.

Due to the recent rise of COVID-19 cases in some communities, Northern is temporarily closing the LeRay and Carthage Relationship Center lobbies effectively Tuesday, December 22. Drive-thru service will remain open at these locations. Our night drop will still be available for business deposits and will be processed on Mondays and Fridays. We’re taking these precautions to protect our member-owners, internal-owners, and community as a whole. We’re monitoring cases in our surrounding communities very closely and will continue to make decisions with everyone’s health and well-being in mind. Our other relationship centers remain open by appointment for business services and select member services.

The relationship center lobbies listed below are open by appointment only. Please find a chart below with the list of services available by appointment. You can also view and print the chart for reference here.

Our relationship center hours, by appointment only, are as follows:

  • Factory, Gouverneur and Lowville
    • Lobby: By appointment only for select services (see chart below) – Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
    • Drive-thru: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:30pm; Friday, 8:30am-6pm; and Saturday, 9am-1pm.
  • Adams, Commerce and Croghan
    • Lobby: By appointment only for select services (see chart below) – Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, Saturday, 9am-12pm
    • Drive-thru: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:30pm; Friday, 8:30am-6pm; and Saturday, 9am-1pm.
  • Carthage and LeRay  (Effective Tuesday, December 22, 2020)
    • Lobby: Temporarily Closed
    • Drive-thru: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:30pm; Friday, 8:30am-6pm; and Saturday, 9am-1pm.
  • Massena
    • ​​Lobby: By appointment only for Personal Teller transactions and select services (see chart below)- Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am-5pm.
  • We encourage members to continue to use digital services whenever possible for your convenience
    • Do nearly all your banking, including new accounts, loans and more from the safety of home with Video Banking.
      • ​Download the Northern Credit Union Video Banking app from your device’s app store or use the desktop version in Google Chrome.
    • Use our Personal Tellers to assist with most common transactions including withdrawals up to $10,000 per day, check cashing with immediate access to payroll checks, share-to-share transfers, loan payments, and more.
    • Now you can do more with your debit/ATM card at our drive-thrus. With our Advanced ATMs, you can cash a check in one step, make loan payments, request a mini-statement, see all accounts and shares you have access to, and choose specific cash denominations for withdrawal. Simply insert your debit card to get started!
    • Pay bills, deposit checks, manage your account and more with Online and Mobile Banking. Enrolling is easy, just let us know if you need help!

Masks are required when entering any relationship center in accordance with NYS law. If you don’t have a mask, a team member will give one to you to use and keep.
– If you’re uncomfortable wearing a mask, we ask that you use a Personal Teller, Video Banking, or other Bank@Home options to complete your transaction. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to protect and respect.

– Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance of each relationship center and next to all lobby Personal Tellers and ATMs for your use before and after each transaction.

– To help maintain appropriate social distancing, we ask that you use the social distancing decals on the floor when waiting in line.

– Upon arrival for your appointment, we’ll greet you and verify your identity at the door and take your temperature. If the relationship center is at capacity, we’ll reserve your spot in line, invite you to wait in your vehicle, and come out to get you when it’s time for your appointment.

– Wellness is our priority! Before coming to work, team members are required to have their temperature taken and report if they or a member of their household isn’t feeling well to discuss whether they should seek advice from a healthcare provider about potential testing or self-isolation.

– Our cleaning company will disinfect surfaces in each relationship center nightly.
– Team members will wipe down shared surfaces like tablets, keypads, touch screens, desks, and doorknobs frequently throughout the day.
– Inside Personal Tellers and ATMs will be wiped down after each use.
– At this time, refreshment stations at each relationship center will remain closed.
